Invoicing service by F&P Digital Consulting SL

From the data of a sale, to its invoice and its record.

The management and sales applications that integrate it send it the data of each sale. The service decides the document and forms the invoice and its billing record.

Diagram of the service. Outside the service, the customer application supplies the data of the sale: date, recipient, description, lines, rates and amounts. Inside the invoicing service of F&P Digital Consulting SL, that data is arranged along an axis and forms the invoice, which the application normally delivers as a PDF; the service decides the type, series and number. Behind the invoice sits its billing record, chained to the previous one. Beyond a dotted boundary lies the submission of the records to the AEAT, in the VERI*FACTU mode: today no record is submitted.
01How it works

Four steps, and who answers for each one.

01

Receives the data

The customer application sends the data of each sale. Nothing is keyed in by hand.

Customer application
02

Decides the document

The service decides the invoice type, series and number. If a case is not supported, it does not form the invoice and says so.

03

Forms the invoice and its record

Each invoice has its billing record, chained to the previous one.

04

Submission to the AEAT

It is part of the service, in the VERI*FACTU mode, and is a stage separate from the invoice.

No record is submitted today
02From data to document

The data arrives in order; the service composes the document.

The application supplies the facts of the sale. Everything that turns them into an invoice is decided and formed by the service.

What the service decides and forms

  1. 1The document type, the series and the number.
  2. 2The issuer and, on the full invoice, the recipient with their address.
  3. 3The lines, the taxable base and the tax amount of each rate, and the total.
  4. 4The QR code, at the start of the first page, with the VERI*FACTU mention.
  5. 5If the application configures it, its logo and its trade name, always after the QR code.
  6. RIts billing record, chained to the previous one.

03Scope

What it does and what it does not do, given equal weight.

  • It does
  • Forms invoices and their billing records from the data it receives.
  • Decides the type, series and number of each invoice.
  • Works only in the VERI*FACTU mode.
  • Includes the submission of the records to the AEAT.No record is submitted today.
  • It does not
  • Does not provide tax advice.
  • Does not file VAT self-assessments, such as form 303.
  • Does not deal with the business’s other tax obligations.
  • Does not issue every type of invoice.
04Who is who

Three names, three roles.

IssuesThe business

Sells and issues the invoice. If the service needs its authorisation, it asks for it inside the application the business uses.

IntegratesThe customer application

Sends the sales data, delivers the invoices and may show its own name and logo.

ProvidesF&P Digital Consulting SL

Provides the invoicing service, whichever application integrates it.

A diagram, not a screenshot: where the provider appears when you authorise.

Why F&P may appear when you authorise

Why do you see it?

The application you use forms its invoices with this service. When the service needs your authorisation, it asks for it there, with F&P Digital Consulting SL as the provider.

What will you see?

The name and logo of the application, the text you authorise, what happens if you continue and a request for a verification code.

What happens if you continue?

The authorisation you give to F&P Digital Consulting SL for the invoicing service is recorded.

And afterwards?

The authorisation can be revoked. Revocation affects only new acts; what came before does not change.

If you have received an invoiceThe business that sold to you issues it; the service forms it on its behalf. For any question about the purchase, contact the business.

05For integrators

A server-to-server integration.

The service does not depend on any particular application. F&P Digital Consulting SL enables each integration.

  • A documented APIYour system sends the data of each sale; the service decides the document and forms the invoice and its record.
  • A component to authoriseWhen the business’s authorisation is needed, it is shown inside your page, with your branding and with F&P as the provider.
  • The invoice and its PDFYour system reads them and delivers them to the end customer.
